The Midwest Queer, Trans, Indigenous, People of Color (QTIPOC) Conference was to be hosted at my university for the first time since its inception. At the time, conferences like this were beginning to pick up traction, especially throughout the Midwest and South. I was asked to create a new logo for the conference along with the official booklet. There was not much I could find with past iterations of the conference aside from a logo from the last Upper Midwest QTIPOC conference, which utilized this striking scarlet red throughout all branding. I decided to maintain that and change the typography from Impact to the Eagle type family for both accessibility and youthfulness.
